Calentar el aceite en una sart\u00e9n. Fre\u00edr ligeramente las zanahorias y las cebollas hasta que est\u00e9n blandas (unos 5 minutos). A\u00f1adir el arroz y luego verter agua hasta cubrirlo. A\u00f1adir la fruta deshidratada, despu\u00e9s de haberla troceado. A\u00f1adir sal y canela. Llevarlo a ebullici\u00f3n, cubrir la sart\u00e9n con la tapa, bajar el fuego al m\u00ednimo y cocinar durante unos 7 minutos. Apagar el fuego y dejar reposar 5 minutos. En Kirguist\u00e1n, muchos platos tienen una importancia ritual y est\u00e1n relacionados con fiestas particulares. Aunque estos platos sean muy interesantes, desgraciadamente muchos de ellos se han olvidado y han ca\u00eddo en desuso, mientras que otros, que antes ten\u00edan un significado ritual, se est\u00e1n convirtiendo progresivamente en platos cotidianos. Los hombres son frecuentemente considerados los mejores cocineros, ya que mucha gente piensa que las mujeres estropean la comida que cocinan para los dem\u00e1s, aunque en la yurta (la casa m\u00f3vil utilizada por los pueblos n\u00f3madas asi\u00e1ticos) la cocina se sit\u00fae en el lado dedicado a las mujeres. Mientras que en varias <i>Ashkana<\/i> (casas de t\u00e9 o cafeter\u00edas) y restaurantes los cocineros son hombres, las mujeres se encuentran m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente en los locales que sirven cocina rusa o europea. Una de las caracter\u00edsticas esenciales de la cocina kirguiza es que los platos deben conservar su sabor y aspecto. Por ejemplo, es poco com\u00fan encontrar platos que contengan carne picada o troceada (aunque haya algunas excepciones).
