Gran Nero Rice
The Gran Nero rice, originally from China, is also currently produced in Italy in some areas of the Padana Plain.
Its grain is characterized by a strong and bright color, due to the presence of anthocyanins, the so-called color molecules that are present in nature in almost all fruits and vegetables, giving them shades of red and blue.
Anthocyanins have a positive effect on our entire system thanks to powerful antioxidants that can namely:
- Block free radicals, slowing cellular aging
- Protect the capillary system, strengthening capillary structure
- Develop an anti-edema effect, useful in solving water retention problems
The Gran Nero rice benefits health:
- it is rich in antioxidant anthocyanins
- its iron content, four times as much than in other types of rice, make it effective in cases of anemia or fatigue.
- it is a source of silicon, an important mineral salt for bone metabolism
- it is a source of selenium, a powerful antioxidant
- it is a source of magnesium, 12% more than other types of black rice
- it is a source of fiber, twice as much than in other types of black rice
- it is a source of phosphorus, 34% more than other types of black rice
